On Saturday May 24, 2025, we gathered for the 3rd Annual We Fight Together Walk/Run, hosted by Sounds of Sarah Inc.—and what a powerful day it was. Families, friends, advocates, and survivors walked side by side, many carrying the weight of personal loss. We shared hugs, tears, memories, and moments of silence in honor of the lives taken too soon by drug poisoning and overdose. Each step taken was a step forward—toward awareness, connection, and change.
This day reminded us that we are not alone. In our unity, we found strength. In our stories, we found healing. And in our shared mission, we found purpose. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to US. Congressman Frank J. Mrvan, State Representative Mike Andrade, and Kelly Anthony, Regional Director from Senator Todd Young’s office for standing with us and sharing this day with our community. The presence gave voice to the silent grief and power to our collective fight. Together, we will continue to honor, to educate, and to fight for a future free of preventable loss.
